Delhi Police has kept with the tradition by using witty one-liners and sarcasm to take a hilarious dig at Virat Kohli for him mistakenly liking a picture of Avneet Kaur's fan page. The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) star set social media ablaze when news broke that he liked one of the pictures of Kaur on her fan page. Fans started to come up with funny memes and also dragged his wife, Anushka Sharma.
However, Kohli issued an official statement that it happened by mistake and silenced all his doubters. Now, the Delhi Police has taken a subtle dig at the former India captain by sharing a witty one-liner on the same matter.
"We would like to clarify that while checking our cameras, it appears the algorithm has registered many interactions. It aims to punish the speeders and traffic rule violators. We request that no unnecessary speeding and stunts be done on public roads. Challans will be issued to the violators. Thank you for your understanding.”
The caption of the post was also spot on, which read: "Our cameras make no mistake in registering interactions with violating vehicles. Follow traffic rules and stay safe.”
The internet instantly liked Delhi Police's sassy comment and hailed them for their brilliance and smart comment.
